Philanthropy
SFPOM provides outreach for families with multiples
who live in the Bay Area and need additional help
and support. We donate toys and equipment to
low-income families, deliver meals and provide
helping hands to single-parent households, and
provide support to families with sick children.

Donations
The Opportunity
At the conclusion of the Consignment Sale, we have a large amount of clothing, toys and books, nursery items, and other baby equipment left. Quite frequently, we even have a stroller or two and bouncy seats. Many sellers elect to have these items donated to a charity. Therefore, we normally try to have four or five charities lined up to take a look at our items and select what they need.
If you are a 501(c)(3) organization that serves families in the Bay Area or internationally, please contact us to see how we could work together. |

Sellers
If
you are a Seller, you can tag your items with green or yellow tags
(available from your local Tagging Representative).
If your item does not sell, it will automatically be donated to charity.
SFPOM
Members
If you are a member of San Francisco Parents of Multiples, you have
a double opportunity to donate. You can drop off your clean, quality
items and the Club will tag them with the proceeds going to SFPOM
for use with our programs. Then, any items not sold will be donated
to charity along with other donated items.
Simply drop off
your sorted
items at one of our
designated
Pre-Sale
Donation sites
and our
volunteers will do the tagging. We ask that you please respect our
Pre-Sale Donation Taggers' time and not drop off stained or poor quality
items as we cannot sell them. Donating is a great way to support
the Club and clear out your closets while bypassing the tagging
process. If you'd like to take advantage of this member service,
please bring
your sorted
clothes to a
designated
Pre-Sale
Donation site
(locations to be
announced soon). |
